Get your friends together and enter the Edible Books Festival. Submit a "book" made of food items. The book can be a pun on a title, refer to a scene or character, look like a book, or just have something to do with books. Whatever the inspiration, it must be edible.  Some previous ideas: scenes from Peter Rabbit, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Life of Pi, The Scarlet Letter, The Lorax, Swiss Family Robinson, Jack in the Beanstalk, The Cat in the Hat.  Maybe you and your friends can come up with something new!

Event: Monday, April 1, 2013 @ Hekman Library 2nd Floor, north windows.

• 2:00 p.m. Judging begins and voting opens for the People's Choice Award.
• 3:00 p.m. A tasting reception and awards ceremony begins. Prizes will be awarded to the winners.
