Has a stated purpose of trying to "stimulate economic analysis by publishing cutting-edge research in many areas, including econometrics, macroeconomics, theory, and applied economics." Hekman has electronic access to full-text archived articles of the journal through JSTOR--always up to 5 years ago. It is searchable on EconLit, and continues to be one of the top ranked economic journals available. The link below takes you to the JSTOR archive of this title 1960-2000 (5 year moving wall).
