MeLCat - More Information
MeLCat is a state-wide resource sharing database. Six million books held in Michigan libraries are represented in MeLCat. You can request most of these books by searching the MeLCat database, clicking on the Get This for Me! icon, and picking up the book at Hekman Library three or four days later.You will be notified when it arrives.
Limitations:
Books, DVDs, Blu-rays, videocassettes and CDs may be requested through MeLCat. Journals are requested through InterLibrary Loan.
MeLCat only searches the holdings of Michigan libraries. To search the holdings of 10,000 libraries worldwide, search WorldCat. The library can get many books discovered in WorldCat by clicking on the Interlibrary Loan icon found in the top left corner of the full record.
