Book Already Checked Out (ILL)?
What should I do if Hekman Library owns the book, but it is checked out?
- If our library owns the item, but it is overdue or lost, then ILL may be used to obtain it from another library.
- If the book displays a future due date of a week or less, place a hold on the item, and you will be notified when the book is returned.
- If the book displays a future due date of more than one week, you may submit an ILL request. Please indicate in your request form that you searched and located the item already in the Hekman Library catalog and note its due date.
