New York Times Academic Pass
Thanks to support from the Provost's office and Student Life, Hekman Library is pleased to announce we have a campus site license to The New York Times online.
Navigate to New York Times Academic Pass from the library's website.
Then, search for Calvin University and Seminary and follow the steps indicated for on- and off-campus users.
Users will need to create an account before gaining full access. If you already have a paid subscription to NYT, then access through Calvin's Academic Pass will not work. You will need to cancel your subscription first and then set up a new account through Calvin.
Once you have set up an account, the library's site license includes access to teaching resources that correlate to news stories. Our site license does not include the NYT puzzles or cooking section.
Hekman Library also provides access to The New York Times historical archive through an easy-to-search ProQuest database.
Please contact Katherine Swart if you have questions.
