Library hosts Historical Studies open house
Come and celebrate the "pandemic publications" of Calvin Historical Studies faculty, featuring seven new books published since the spring of 2020. Drop by our open house on November 10, from 3:30-5:00 PM on the main floor of Hekman Library to meet the authors and learn more about their new books.
Some of the featured authors and publications:
- William Katerberg -- Immigration Debates in America (Calvin Press, 2020)
- Retief Müller -- The Scots Afrikaners: Identity, Politics, and Intertwined Religious Cultures in Southern and Central Africa (Edinburgh, 2021)
- Frans van Liere -- Life at Saint Victor (Brepols, 2021); and Andrew of Saint Victor, Commentary on Isaiah (sserie: Corpus Christianorum, Brepols, 2021)
This event is open to the Calvin community - students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends. Guests are kindly reminded to follow Calvin's Covid-19 safety protocols, which at this time includes wearing masks at all times in indoor public spaces.
