GRPL Celebrates 150 Years of Service
GRPL stands for Grand Rapids Public Library.
Why are we promoting the GRPL? Because there are many benefits to our community to get to know and use the GRPL's seven branches, as well as the main library downtown. Some benefits:
- Sunday hours
- Free printing, copying and faxing at all locations
- no fines for overdue materials
- GRPL to go curbside services
- stream TV shows, movies, music, and audiobooks (free during COVID pandemic; grpl.org/download)
- passes to area museums, zoos, botanical gardens, and music, theater and dance performances
Searching the catalog is easy. The catalog searches all Grand Rapids Public Library locations. If the item is at another GRPL location or checked out, you can place a hold on it. The item will be sent to the location of your choice for you to pick up.
To get a library card, visit one of the branches or the main library with a photo ID or sign up online at grpl.org/get-a-card.
