From April 9-23, the library invites members of our Calvin community to write poems about your love of the written word - so about reading or writing, poetry, stories, books, bookstores, libraries...you get the drift. Poems may be any style, serious or silly, and any format from free verse to limerick. Send your submissions by email to librarian Amanda Matthysse ⁠at arp23@calvin.edu. She will be sharing everyone's poetry on the Hekman Instagram page for all to view throughout April.

Be sure to like your favorites, because at the end of the month the poem with the most likes will be crowned the winner! The winning poet will receive as a prize a Calvin mug and free Peet's drink.
