Due to a generous gift, the Meeter Center for Calvin Studies recently purchased eleven 16th and 17th Century books. These works range from Calvin’s 1547 commentary on First Corinthians to a 1609 volume containing Calvin’s catechism as well as the Heidelberg Catechism in both Greek and Latin. These volumes support the Center’s goal of having resources useful both for scholarly research and of interest to the local community.

On December 4, guests gathered to celebrate the addition of these rare works to the Center’s collection.
