New Blog for Heritage Hall
Heritage Hall, (HH) the archives for Calvin University, Calvin Theological Seminary, and the church denomination that founded both schools, has created a new blog. The blog is named after the print magazine published by HH, Origins: The Historical Magazine of the Archives.
There are three posts to start with. An introduction to the blog, a story about Garret Heyns and the Calvin Prison Initiative, and a story about a Jewish girl who grew up in a Dutch Reformed neighborhood in Grand Rapids. The last is based on a story from Origins. HH staff will publish a couple of stories a week.
They've also started a Facebook page. Some posts will be stories from the blog and others from websites related to the history HH focuses on. Many days the post will simply be a photo or postcard from their collections.
Please consider following the blog and Facebook page and pass this information on to family and friends who might be interested.
