The library's Promotion, Outreach and Programming Committee (POP) has planned events for every day of this week (Sept. 9 - 13) for what we're calling "Library Fall Kickoff."

Yesterday was an InfoFair, where students could come in and visit tables scattered around the 2nd floor and talk with staff from departments like the Rhetoric Center, Center for Student Success, Center for Counseling and Wellness, and other related areas.

Today, the committee members invited staff from Grand Rapids Public Library and Kent District Library (the two large library systems in the greater Grand Rapids area) to give out information about their branch libraries and multiple services and resources. 

Tables were set up in the large library lobby. More than 30 students stopped by to learn more and at least 20 signed up for new cards/accounts.
