The Christian Reformed Church(CRC) synod, or general assembly, will convene on Calvin's campus from June 7 - 14. Each regional body or classis of the CRC sends delegates to synod. Synod will also meet with the delegates to the Reformed Church in America (RCA) General Synod in joint sessions, advisory committees, workshops, and times of worship.

The Agenda for Synod is a good resource for those who want details about what this body of leaders will be discussing and what reports from agencies, institutions, ministries and committees will come before them. Tasks of synod include responsibility for creeds, the Church Order, liturgical forms, hymnals, principles of worship, and moral/ethical positions.
