Reserve a Group Study Space
The library has 11 collaborative study spaces and a system in place for booking them! You can book a room on your phone by going to any study room and scanning the QR code for that room. You can also book them from a desktop computer.
Here are some policies to be aware of:
- Rooms are always open (unlocked) and can be reserved for half-hour intervals; four hours maximum per day
- Groups have preference over individuals
- Vacant study rooms may be used on a walk-in basis until the next reservation
Each room is equipped with table, chairs, and a whiteboard. The media study rooms in the Cayvan collection accommodate 3-6 individuals and have audio/video equipment to allow for viewing or presentation work. Equipment remotes may be checked out at the 2nd floor Checkout Desk.
Make sure you leave each room as you found it, ready for the next person or group. For example, don’t leave personal belongings in the room. Don’t move furniture in or out. Food and covered drinks are allowed, but clean up after yourself. Finally, report any equipment problems to the 2nd floor Circulation Desk staff.
