The H. Henry Meeter Center for Calvin Studies provides several fellowships each year. One of them is the Emo Van Halsema Fellowship for pastors. This year the recipient is Chelsey Harmon, pastor at Christ Community Church (CRC) in Nanaimo, BC, Canada. Her topic of study is John Calvin’s teachings in dialogue with Richard Foster’s Streams of Living Water: Celebrating the Great Traditions of the Christian Faith. Rev. Harmon will seek to identify challenges for modern discipleship as she delves into these two sources.
