Write Night Comes Around Again
Continuing our tradition which began in March of 2016, the Rhetoric Center and Hekman Library hosted a late-night paper writing clinic on Wednesday, April 17, from 7 p.m. to midnight.
There were 168 sign-ins, which is compares well to other semesters. Every hour writers took a break and waited for their name to be called to claim a prize. Prizes ranged from basic office supplies to $10 Biggby gift cards. Homemade cupcakes and pizza were provided by the Rhetoric Center for students who committed to a writing goal; coffee was provided by the library for anyone who wandered in.
The library and Rhetoric Center try to schedule this event at the busiest time of the semeser when writing projects are due. We will let you know when the November 2019 date is set!
