Curriculum Collection on the Move
Where is the Curriculum Collection now? It's still on the library's 2nd floor, but it has moved from the Government Documents area to shelves on the northwest side of the floor, near the Career Resources area and adjacent to librarian Lois Dye's office. This seems appropriate, because Lois is the liaison to the Education Department and knows a great deal about the CC. We have also added large study tables to the area, so that books and other types of curriculum materials may be conveniently used by groups of students.
Kits, resource boxes, games, and the like have all been integrated into the main CC. Puppets have been tucked away into a large filing cabinet just outside Lois' office.
We're glad that this popular, frequently-used collection now has a more permanent home that is better suited to the type of materials it contains!
