Theological librarian Lugene Schemper and his student workers have undertaken a massive digitization project. The Christian Reformed Church in North America (CRCNA) has already made available online both the Acts and the Agendas of Synod from 1999 to the present. But Lugene and his assistants have been working on completing the digitization, going all the way back to 1881. (1857-1880 was completed in an earlier project). The Acts and the Agenda contain matters to be presented to and the decisions made by the CRC's synod, the denomination's highest governing body. 

These online resources have the potential to be very useful for researchers looking for primary documents on topics related to the Christian Reformed Church and its stance on important issues. It's not unusual, for example, for students to be assigned topics such as the history of women in office in the CRC, or the impact of U.S. popular culture on the church (dancing and movies to name a few prominent examples!)
