Please be aware that the Hekman Library will close at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27, before the Thanksgiving holiday. We will be closed on the 28th, and be open 10am-4pm on the 29th and 30th. There will be no reference services, however. Normal hours and all services will resume on Monday, December 2. (This information is also available on our website).

On the days we are closed, you can enter the small vestibule area just inside the main entrance and place your books, etc., in the drop box. If your items are due right before or after Thanksgiving, don't wait until the holiday is over to return them. You can call the main Circulation Desk (616-526-7197) to renew your materials if you need an extension. You can also do an online renewal by logging into your library account and requesting the renewal function there.
