Who Will YOU Vote For?

Here are some helpful resources to guide you through the morass of news, spin, sound bytes, and half-truths in this presidential election season.

  1. Factcheck.org, an unbiased website from Annenberg Foundation that aims to reduce the amount of confusion and deception in American politics.
  2. Presidential debate schedule - try to catch at least one of the debates!
  3. CNN.com  Not as biased as other news organizations which shall remain nameless.
  4. National Public Radio - From their history page: "On-air and online, NPR presents fact-based, independent journalism that examines and airs diverse perspectives."
  5. Time magazine, Newsweek, U.S. News & World Report: the library has all three news magazines online via the ProQuest ABI/Inform database.
  6. The League of Women Voters - This organization strives to educate the electorate on truth in campaign advertising, voting, and what you need to know on election day, plus MUCH more. (About the LWV)
