Subject Guides for Research Across the Curriculum
Save research time by using the library's Subject Guides. They offer an overview of the best finding tools for a subject including recommended reference materials, catalog search tips, reliable and authoritative websites, and core research databases.
Look for the guide that corresponds to your major or that fits the subject area of an assignment. Start at the Home page and then explore other pages within each guide: "Beginning your research,"Finding books," "Finding articles," "Reference", and other discipline-specific pages.
Each subject guide will also put you in contact with the librarian who created the guide and who can help you further with research in the subject area. Pictured here is a page from the Economics Subject Guide, created by library liaison, Katherine Swart.
